Axial Load on Beams

Hello Everyone,

I'm a begginer on Robot and there is a situation that I really don't understand the reason why it's happening:

Basically, if I have a beam supported on the ends by two columns and I if apply some perpendicular load to the beam, the software gives me as a result some axial force acting on the beam (see Figure 1). From my view this is not supposed to happen because the load it's acting perpendicular to beam and so there is no projection of the load. Can someone explain me the reason why this happens?

On the other hand, if I define supports on the beam ends the axial force won't exists which is what I expect. I believe that this results should be the same for the beam supported by columns.

Thanks in advance.

@PradeconSA

Fx in the beam is due to Fx reaction at the support.

This reaction create also Fz in the column
