API Create table for one point (not extreme)

Hi everybody: I'm trying to write an API to write a table with efforts in several bars, in several points, via API.

I need them in some positions, so setting I_TCV_NUMBER_OF_DIVISION_POINTS is not useful for me.

I have thought that maybe a for loop setting I_TCV_POSITION_OF_DIVISION_POINT where I need is a solution.

I have done this:

TablaResult=RobProj.ViewMngr.CreateTable(IRobotTableType.I_TT_FORCES, IRobotTableDataType.I_TDT_VALUES)
TablaResult.Select( IRobotSelectionType.I_ST_BAR, '1')#here goes the number for the bars
TablaResult.Select( IRobotSelectionType.I_ST_CASE, '1') #here goes the number for the case
TablaResult.Configuration.SetValue(IRobotTableConfigValue.I_TCV_POSITION_OF_DIVISION_POINT, 0.1)

But the problem is that for every actualization of I_TCV_POSITION_OF_DIVISION_POINT, the starting and ending point of the bar is also written.

How can I do for having only the point I need?

hi @Euge_I

part of your answer is in this thread

So sorry, but I haven't found the point. What I'm wondering is how can I set, when creating a table via API for a specific point (at a relative position) to show only that point, because via API it maintains starting and ending point:

(In Robot, I can delete all characteristic points, and then create only one point. Via API I can delete all points but, when I create one, it automatically adds starting and ending point)

hi @Euge_I

I understood. My answer made you see another way to proceed. rather than asking for a table in Robot, create one in excel. In this case you can implement all the results (beginning and end or intermediate nodes) but you have to iterate over combinations for the mini maxi.

Ok, I see... I have already something like that, but I find it extremely slow... On the other hand, creating a table in Robot and exporting it as CSV  is faster and it can export a lot of data. All I wanted is to  automate the creation of those tables (one table for beams 1 to 10, another for beams 11 to 20, and so on). Looping is a slow solution...

20 bars with 20 combinations takes 8 seconds

In my case I have 5 live loads, temperature, wind, imperfections... ULS has 10870 components.
Exporting a table is 25 minutes (20 bars, 12 points in each bar, for 10870 components). With vba it took much more time.  In fact, I'm managing that amount of data with python (CSV cannot be imported into excel if rows are bigger than 10^6, more or less).

Do I need all those components? Not really, of course, but there they are (generated with Automatic combination). In fact, I have also done 30 combinations with the loads I think are going to give max and min values, and comparing.

Because of timing, I'm trying to generate those tables via API, and exporting them to CSV, to work afterwards.  If possible, perfect. If not, well, I'll have to do them manually... 😥
