When open IFC file in Revit shows nothing like the file is empty

When i open my ifc file in revit, it shows nothing and seems like the file is empty.

I used these steps below to open my IFC file:

  1. Create a new revit model file
  2. Select template file > Metric construction template
  3. Click insert tab > link ifc
  4. When open it shows nothing

But when I open the IFC file in other BIM software like BIM Vision, the pipes are all shown.

Is there any solution for this?

The IFC file is here

Hi @soonhui

I'm not at my machine but have you checked the visibility graphics? When we open a structural IFC file the columns don't  show because they are on the category Colums not Structural Colums which is set to off

Try turning on all categories to see if they appear

In my case it shows up (Revit 2020) when linking in a file

Note that I changed the view range to get it into view on a floorplan

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.
