What is your best practices when working with linked Arch model

Hi everyone,
We are doing Arch and structural in house now. Before Arch was CAD and Structure was Revit. My question is what  workflow looks like in your company? I will greatly appreciate tips that help you in this collaboration successfully. Thank you

Structural person here, this is what we do:

  • Separate worksets for links by discipline, not visible in all views.
  • Control the display with view template. Our engineers generally want to see in on our framing plans.
  • Within the View Template:
    • Underlay, NOT half tone, and certainly not both,
    • Set "Disciple: to the discipline, not coordination, we want to see the differences.
    • All model categories for all disciplines on, except rooms, areas, spaces, mass, site and usually linework.
    • Annotation off, we have separate coordination views for grids and levels.
    • Everything else inherits from view template.
