What is Proper Way to change a Beam Family model into a Column? HSS 6X6X1/2"

Hi,

So I'm a drafter for a small CAD firm who has made recent transition to Revit and working on a project where the Structural Engineer has asked for HSS 6X6X1/2" column. Revit has this out-of-box as a Beam, but not a Column and closest column is 6X5x1/2". I have spent a day of work pouring thru forums and BIM content and can not find either a download for the proper family with this member as a column, nor a procedure that doesn't seem to involve simply locating a lost Structural-Column.rvt file which is not an issue, it just doesn't contain the member in the form I need.

So, I'm afraid I'm now desperate enough to ask here if anyone can point me to how to modify the model used in the Beam family to work in the columns? Or if you could provide a link specifically to this member as a column? I search BIMobject.com to no avail and hope to get a little help here to get moving again on this work. Can anyone here point me to how to make or download what I need in this regard? Thanks for the help! ...I hope!

Load the structural HSS Square-Column and get the HSS 6x6x1/2 type.

Path: Structural Columns > Steel > AISC 14.1 > HSS Square-Column.rfa

It is because you were loading the HSS Rectangle-Column family before.
