Weird block after exporting Sheet.

Hi All,

I created an RBD isolator for my project as a new family.

In my section views I have this as follows:

My section is quite large, so for the sheet I had to create a "dependent" view with detailing, to divide the section by half.

Original at Top and Dependent at the bottom.

Here are the section views with the crop view option turned off to visualize the cropped region:

When I export this to AutoCAD, I noticed that the block which corresponds to my RBD Isolator for the original view is well defined, but the "dependent" creates a weird block like the image below:

For the dependent elevation, the RBD Isolator is decomposed and a portion of the block is moved to the right.

What am I missing here?

You are not missing anything here. Sometimes the export from Revit goes not completely right.

I noticed hat sometimes remodeling the family in a slight different way resolves the problem.

Thanks @L.Maas. This was my guess too, I thougth it was a bug. Sad to hear.

Any recommendation or tip for a RBD Isolator family model?

You could look at a manufacturers website and see if they have families. Maybe bimboject.com?

You also could try to remodel your present isolator. For example instead of an extrusion see what happen when you use a sweep or revolve.
