Wall Height Calculations incorrect

Hi Guys,

did anyone come across this issue yet? The visual representation clearly says (TopOffset + WallHeight + BottomOffset) 2 + 4 + 4 while parameters are saying 2 + 6 + 2. At least both end up at 10 as an overall distance between levels.

Using Revit 2018: 18.0.0.420 on Win 7.

Thanks A_MAQ, for sure this will fix it.

Now lets scale this a bit to a normal size project with a few hundred walls.

But how do I know all my parameter extractions are correct?

Just run reset shape for all walls just in case, on a daily basis?

Hi, yes - I'm processing the model in various ways using the Revit API, users are uploading models they built - in this case its tricky to figure the actual intention of the user. Of course, one could say: parameters are always right, extract them and be fine with it. However there are two issues: was it the users actual intention to set parameters this way or is the visual object correct? And I realized you can end up with the same result (parameters != visual) when creating walls using the Revit API. It might be a solution to run reset profile, however, what if the wall has a profile which has been set intentionally? A global force redraw could be an option if there is something like that in Revit?
