View range error

Dear,

When I using View Range function in my Revit 2019, this dialog opened

then I do NOTHING and kick apply, the dialog is error. Why? I think Revit open the current view range but it's NOT?

Please, change view depth level to -1500.

The error says "the VIEW DEPTH plane is above the BOTTOM clip plane". As @awes  points out, Currently the BOTTOM clip plan is below the VIEW DEPTH.

Your View depth has to be lower then the Bottom in the Primary Range.

Dear,

My wondering is why the view can be exist with a wrong view range? I wrote that I did NO THING after kick View Range button (just to see current view range). May this is misunderstanding situation ?

unfortunately it is hard to answer questions about why or how something that was done a certain way. the way to fix the issue is what @Jason.P , @awes and my self recommenced. did you reset your Bottom and View depth as recommended? did that resolve the error?

 

if it did resolve the error, you now know how to fix it if it happens again 🙂
