Varying rebar set problem

Hi to everybody,

I have a problem with the rebar module of Revit 2018/2020. I Would like to do a Varying rebar set with all the bar that follow the floor geometry. All rebar must to be of 3 meters. I've tried to use the "Varying rebar" command, and to set the constraints of rebar in the way of photo 1. The contraint number 1 is referenced tothe red line arc anche the constrain number two is reference to the same line with a offset of 3 meters.

Revit create all the rebar set but the rebars haven't the same length, you can see it in the second image.

How can i resolve this problem?? thank you very much!!

Hi @Anonymous

The distance to the bar end is measured perpendicular to the reference (element face).

When referencing a curved face of an element, the bars in the set all stop at the offset (at the distance specified for the bar handle) of that curved face.

Since the bars are all parallel to each other and all reference the same face, they cannot have the same length .

I think for this example you need to model individual bars and adjust one of the segment lengths

You could define an area reinforcement by that arc edge > remove the area system > edit the segment length.

Sorry for this cumbersome workaround.
