Using Brace Tool snaps brace to work location - Revit

Using the Brace Tool in 2025, I noticed whenever I pick a point on a beam to end a vertical brace, it never snaps to that end. It seems to always snap below the end point of the vertical line as seen in the screenshot below. 

I never had this problem in 2024 but for some reason, this is an issue in 2025 or at least this is the first time experiencing the problem in 2025.

Suggestions? I can't disallow join because that creates a length issue with the brace visually.

I have always found placing a Grid along the Centre Line on the Beam/Column allows for a more accurate placement with Braces and then  picking that plane on placement of the Brace in an Elevation or Section View.

Also try using the Tab Key to cycle node points

I created a reference plan, which is something I always do, and then I made a reference elevation along that plan to model in my bracing. For some reason, like I said, this is the first time in 2025 I've come across this issue where the end point will not snap to where I want it to go unless I disjoin it. Disjoining it causes a visual issue with the brace going through the top cord member.

Ahhhh, I discovered the problem. I had hidden a larger beam modeled over top the green colored beam. This was causing issues with where the brace would snap to. As soon as I deleted the hidden beam, which I don't need, the brace snapped to the right location.

Problem solved, for now! LOL

I was going to say this is typical where the elements are not planar on the reference - glad its sorted.

Well, got another bracing issue and this one is very similar to my last problem. And, this has been an on going issue for awhile.

Does anyone know why when you model a kicker brace, the end point of the brace wants to snap to the centroid of a beam beyond? In the picture below, I want the kicker to snap to the end of the beam at it's mid point. It won't do this as long as there is a beam connected to the end of the beam supported by the kicker. If I remove the beam connecting to the end of the kicker supported beam, it works.
