Transparency surface pattern

Hi everyone, as I know, the line weight and transparency of surface pattern is depend to material and object styles. So can I change the transparency of the surface pattern only, not to change the transparency of the material or the object styles?

Select the element> right click> override graphics in view> element (can use for category as well)> surface transparency>
