Training Recommendations

Hello All,

Currently my team and I are looking to become familiar with the Revit Software. I was making this post to see if anyone could recommend some good, quality training programs for us to get started on. Typically, we work with precast concrete and occasionally structural steel and timber.

I would appreciate anyone who can point me in the right direction, or provide some good basic and intermediate training resources for Revit.

Thanks,

-Ian

If you want to become familiar with Revit you should get the basics down first before focussing on fixed disciplines. In my opinion it is important to learn the concepts of Revit. Revit often works differently than other modelling software.

Depending ion your preferred way of learning you could pick up a book (e.g Mastering Series, Books by Paul Aubin). Yu also could do some video courses (Lynda, Udemy) or you could contact a local reseller and see if the have classical courses (fixed program courses, or dedicated course for your team).

A basic course should help you to get up to speed much faster and let you understand the concepts of Revit. After that you could go for the more specific courses.
