To place Beams by grid projected into a floor sloaped surface

Wrote a simple script in Dynamo.

Objective: To project structural beam by z axis into a surface floor.

This should work. Don´t know if their is any better geometry intersect. And don´t know why selected faces doesn´t work too.

I can´t follow the errors chain, and understand why caused it.

Hi @andreduarteAL3S4 . You have empty lists in Geometry.IntersectAll node, that is why you are getting an error. You need to increase distance for Curve.Extrude node and use levels in Geometry.IntersectAll node to find all intersections betwen grids and selected surfsces.

Hello @PavelAnd !

Thank for you answer and GIF! Somehow it still doesn t work, like you did on you computer.

Followed your footsteps, but I in my computer the node "Select Faces" is not working.

But the node "Select Face" is working fine...

Did you click "Finish" after selecting faces? "Enter" on the keyboard will not work.
