Thickening concrete layer in Precast Wall

In precast concrete Insulated wall, I have made a recess in concrete part. This change has reduced concrete layer thickness. What is the best solutions to thicken concrete layer? Finally the element should act as single element (monolithic) including the thickened part!

Picture is attached for clarity. Thank you all for your time.

Hi @shuaib009 ,

How did you create the recess in the wall and does the recess continue up the whole wall or just a specific area?

Generally when cutting out the face of a wall it will just reduce the thickness of that face applied and wont reduce the insulation thickness. It is possible you will need to create another wall style for that specific area.

Regards,

Gareth

I created recess by in-place model & cut the void from existing full wall.

If I create another wall just to thicken certain area(as shown in 3D), then it won’t be a full single element, that is my problem.
