TAG ALL

Hi,

Query in "Annotate - Tag all" in Revit 2013

I Kept 3 Levels in a New revit file.

In Level 1, I Placed some concrete columns of same size and family.
I selected all the columns and changed the Instance Properties "Mark" as C1.
Column Base level as Level 1
Column Top level as Level 2.

In Level 2, Copied all those columns and keep at the side.
Now changed those columns Instance properties "Mark" as C2,
Then placed those columns just above C1.
Base level of C2 is Level 2
Top level of C2 is Level 3.

Now in Level 2, I clicked "Tag ALL".
I got both C1 & C2 which is not correct for presentation.
How to avoid this?

FYI:

I did not touch any settings like View Range, Depth Clipping and VG.

🙂

My guess is that when you're on level 2 and you're tagging columns using "Tag All" the tool is also seeing the columns below because your View Range is set to, say, -4'-0" from the second floor.
