I do not show any Connections under the Structure tab. Only the Generic Connection showing in Properties. The Families do appear in the default installation location. (pic of location)

Hi @Anonymous

Does it show the connections in the "Connection Settings"? If so, you need to make sure the connections you want to use are loaded i.e. showing in the right hand column. You do this by double clicking on the connection you want to add.

Kind Regards,

For me, none of these options are showing in visibility/graphics settings. Would there be any reason for that?

Hi Tod.

Even if it's perfectly installed, as Sampie said, you need first to load them to your project. You can also load all of them at once if you want and/or need. Then you can use them.

After they are loaded, using Connections, some of then are also selection dependant. For some of them, for example, you need to select a column and then a beam. Just pause your mouse over it a little bit, in Properties's type selector, to see the its tooltip, if it's the case. Then, place it.

And if you can use the Connection, but can not see the final result, desselect it and In the view Properties, you may check the view "Discipline" (if they are in Structure, Coordination or Architecture), "Visibility Graphics" (they need to be marked as visible) and also see if the "Detail level" of the view is settled to "Fine".

This what I found out in Revit online help.

Unless structural connection add-ins are installed, only the symbolic generic connection is available. Some add-ins may require a subscription.
