Structural Quantity takeoff

Hi everyone,

I'd like to know what is the differences between Length vs Overall length nominal in quantity take off in Revit, I checked the parameters and I realized length is the correct item in our project but the second one is the reporting parameter based on what I see in the edit family of that model.  I have shared an image for the nominal item which we can see inside the family edit area but there is no formula or anything else. just curious what is this difference in our figures?

I guess it depends on the category of the family - what kind of family do you have,.. Rebar..?

Usually the Nominal length refers to identifiation for manufacturing or the minimum requirement..

For example: the nominal diameter for rebars is usually the round diameter, however the deformed rebars have slightly smalled diameter but still have the same nominal diameter.
