Structural Parapet

I have a structural model with flat slabs where mariginal beams used in areas where there are no cantilevers, i would like to add reinforced concrete parapet at the perimeter of my roof considering the section supported by marginal beam and the section where the structural system of the slab is cantilever. the parapet height is 1.20m above the roof slab level and it's all over the perimeter of the slab edge.

Thanks ..

Have you tried creating a wall?

I tried using a wall as structural element, but the problem is in the connection between the slab and the parapet itself. When i try to add reinforcement to the parapet, the reinforcement illustration doesn't consider the relation between the slab and the parapet.

Reinforcing a parapet to slab is similar to the screencast I posted to your other Question on foundations... Depending on the reinforcment you use; you shouldn't have any problems reinforcing them as long as both are structural element of the same material joined...

Similar to the parapet...but wall here is joined between structural foundation slab and foundation.

Otherwise; (not sure about the version of Revit you are using) you can resort to Extensions which does the same basically with much less efforts...See this for example (very old post but I knew many who used it) http://bimandbeam.typepad.com/bim_beam/2008/07/
