Structural foundation wall

I have a small elevator addition project, we laid out the concrete walls really quickly (3 of them) and placed a wall foundation (strip footing) under them. As we progressed with the project, we added another concrete wall, and every time I go to place the foundation under it, it cuts the existing footing back. Please see attached pictures, and if anyone can help me that would be great. before addition.PNGafter.PNG

Hi,

I tried no problem. Can you upload a TEST file for review?

I removed the existing building, so it it is all just the new construction.

I deleted the wall shown in the picture, copied the front wall, there may be a software problem. I am using Revit 2021.

Hi @Jason.P

The correct way is to separate the walls.

Select the wall, at both ends you will find a circle, press right click on it and separate; as shown for both ends.

Then you align with the face of the other wall so that it is well modeled, now you only place the foundation.
