Stirrup Detailing in RCC Wall

Dear All,

I hope you are safe in pandemic.

I was working on a Revit Structure Project and found difficulty in showing stirrups separately as shown in CAD file.

It is necessary as it gives clear idea of stirrups arrangement. Is it possible in Revit to show this type of detailing or any other method for this ?

Thank you,

Keval Shah

You could also just duplicate the view and isolate the rebar in the view.

(E.g. Temporary isolate, and the Apply temporary state)

Then you just place the view on the sheet.

Manual, but free.

If you are new to Revit, you can start with an automatic reinforcing plugin called Naviate REX. It if free to use if you already have a Revit licence. It was previously included in older Revit as an rebar extension. Anyway, Naviate automatically generates vertical and horizontal rebars (including stirrups and spacers). It also does stronger rebars for the wall ends. Then you can copy the wall's end stirrup and and move/copy/stretch it as necessary. This is very easy for the 3D modeling.

For the bent detail generating, rebar schedule and drawing sheets generating i would suggest the Sofistik addin.

Yes. It worked. But too much labor work to do. Thanks for reply.
