Steel plate connection for Cross-Shape and Cruciform Flanged section columns

Dears,

I need to place base connections on structural columns in a Flanged Cruciform format, but I haven't been successful.
This scenario is fairly obvious because there isn't a Section Shape for it in Structural Section Properties.
However, I also tried using a Cross-Shape family and was unsuccessful, despite this type of section being available in the software.
Am I doing something wrong?
Is there a workaround?

I would suggest the Section Shape it is outside the Scope of Automated Connections as per the link below;
