SPOT SLOPE TRIANGLE

I have been trying to use the spot slope with the triangle option but I am unable to select triangle from the dropdown. It defaults to arrow but is greyed out and I can't change it. I made sure my units were set to rise/12". I can't recall ever having a problem with this before. I tried it out in Revit 2014 and 15 and same thing. I am not sure what I am supposed to do. it always just worked fine.

Sorry but I dont follow. I don't see anything that says arrow head slope. It used to be that you just selected the type as triangle or something if I recall. It was just a simple selection to change it. I dont seem to have anything but spot slopes with slope as a type.

Can triangle spot slopes be placed in plan view? If not, why not?

I tried placing one in a section view but found I could not place either type of spot slope on this object. I guess it does not work on a model in place foundation? This is a banked ramp that I modelled as a swept blend.

Thanks but I am not talking about the leader arrowhead. I am referring to the actual spot slope triangle option that I guess is not available in plan. What I am labeling is an actual wedge and the triangle slope is more representative but it just isn't available in plan. Thanks for the link to the model in place thing.

Thanks for mentioning that you were in a plan view on this. I was having the same problem today.

Just saving some linework for reuse in one location that happens to be a plan view, but part of the linework is angled slopes for roof crickets. Couldn't figure out why I couldn't get the slope to work until I read your note.

Thanks for the tip!
