Hello everybody.
I am practicing revit and I got stuck in a detail, can a text be replaced by a dimension? In the model that I am making, in some cases it asks me for a text and not the dimension. Thanks for your help.

Hi @franks.zinho

Yes, double-click on the dimension and a box will appear, there you can change.

The error is yours, since you are wanting to change a number for another number and that is not possible, since revit limits the real.

You can only change to a text or the combination of text and number. For example L = 15 max.

What you can do is put number as a suffix or prefix, as well as above and below.

not possible, you can combine text and dimension by double clicking the dimension or you can replace dimension with text. thanks
