Single bolt connection in steel structure

Hi everyone! I am trying to make connections with a single bolt in a steel structure. The elements I want to join are L shaped profiles and a user defined profile which is a steel sheet folded at 60 degrees. The structure is a triangular guyed mast. I made several attempts to make the connection but I get this error “The shape for medium detail level of connected element contains rounding”. Which is true, both profiles have rounded surfaces to keep the fidelity of the model, but at the same time there should be enough space for one 1/2” bolt to connect both elements. In other attempts the bolt is misplaced, and the profiles overlap in space.

Thank you for your answer @jay_colc!. It seems the solution is in that general direction, because I dont get that "The shape for medium detail level of connected element contains rounding" error anymore when I eliminate all the curves on both profiles. But then theres another problem when trying to make a profile with multiple levels of detail (with curves on fine detail and straight lines on medium) I get a "Can't create sweep" error on the profile family. Here is a picture of the 2d profile I made with the straight lines over the curved fine detail ones. Is this the correct way to define the profile?

The solution was found finally! I had to make two sweeps in the profile family, one for the fine detail level and another for the medium detail level. thanks @jay_colc for your help!
