I would like to use such option for minor reinforcement for parapet, small driveways, alleys, small ramps and platforms, etc, where reinforcement is minimal and doesn't worth the time to fully detail it. I want to fully model it in Revit (for material take-off reasons), i just don't want to waste my time tagging&detailing dozen small independent rebars for no real gain. It's easier to specify it as global quantity.
