Show element without increasing view depth

Hello,

I understand that Revit works with view depths. And if I cut a true section through my building it will only show elements that pass through the section mark location. I also understand the reasoning behind this.

That said. Is it possible to show an element in full without increasing the view depth of my section?

A solution might be to make use of two views on top of each other like this

Then on a sheet

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.

You can toggle Far Clip Settings between Clip and No Clip.  That doesn't affect the Clip Offset (or View Depth as you called it).
