It's okay. I believe you misunderstood the question "See which views have a certain view template".
Your answer is considered correct when you want to manually check in the properties palette which view template is assigned to a single View.
But @david.gardin is looking for an easier way to check which views have that particular view template was assigned to. If you have 100 views to check, it will be very difficult to check one by one manually, rather, just create a view schedule.
Hope it clarifies why david accepted our solutions.
