ROTATE DETAIL ITEM TAG ACCORDING TO DETAIL ITEM VERT.-HORIZ. LOCATION

I' m trying to make a detail item TAG rotate automatically (Horiz. or Vertical) depending on which way the detail item is rotated in plan view. (Horiz. or Vertical).  i do not want to click on the tags [Horizontal or vertical] placement every time i tag something. i want the tag to rotate automatically depending on the orientation of the detail item.  anyone currently have this implemented??  please help. thanks. david

This worked in R2022.

however, this checkbox doesn't seem to perform the desired rotation in R2020-R2021.

anyone know this problem???
