Revit to STAAD/ .ISM Repository problem

ISM Repository problem/ Revit beam problem
So I'm having a problem where I am making a repository from a structural model that was generated in Autodesk Revit and was using structural steel and analytics that were from AISC 6th Edition (ASD6) because of the age of the building.  So the properties of the beams were changed to the beams that were used in AISC 6th Edition and other beams were generated that weren’t on Revit before.  I can generate an .ism but the engineer I’m doing this for just keeps saying there is an error message and he can’t get it into STAAD.  I already have both Structural Synchronizer and the ISM tool/add-in for Revit installed and using Revit 2016 and the engineer is using STAAD Pro v8i.  I’ve already made four other repositories trying to do something different and nothing has worked.  Not too sure on what else to do.  Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

The first thing that you need to do is uninstall correctly your plug-in delete all the information and then, install first Structural Synchronizer and then install your ism plugin for Revit,  and then i have i video where i can you the process to have a good repository when you want to use for a Bentley software.

This particular case is approximately in the 20 minute of the video.
