Revit Rebar tagging shape 11

Hello

I am trying to tag a shape code 11 which has been rotated. I have been unable to draw the bar as a fix number.

1. How do you array the bar as a fixed number along the X direction

2. How do you tag the same bar on plan with a multi rebar dimension.rebar.PNG

Is that a rebar set with shape driven bars or is it free form?

How did you place that?

Can you attach a sample project?

File as attached. I want the Schedule mark 01 (rebar number 5) to have the short leg running along the long length of the beam.

Hey @andydyer,

1. How do you array the bar as a fixed number along the X direction

The only way to do that is the array command. Unfortunately, you cannot group them or use layout rules.

2. How do you tag the same bar on plan with a multi rebar dimension.

With the help of the plug-in SOFiSTiK Reinforcement Detailing you can group these identicaly bars to a rebar container. With another command you can tag them as shown in the screencast. This available since Revit 2018, so you would have to upgrade your project.

Does this solve your issue?

Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure my company will want to purchase another program so I can tag 1 bar! Probably have to use text instead.

Hello @Anonymous,

You can use Free Form Rebar to produce bars with hooks that bend in the direction you require.

To do this, you need Revit 2018.1.

In order for the free form bars to be matched to Rebar shapes, you would need Revit 2019.

Check out the sample saved using Revit 2018
