Revit grids & levels

Hi,

When i link a revit model from the Architect into my structural model the associated grids levels are all shown, is there a way of turning these off within all my views at once or do i need to tirelessly go through each view and swith off within the visibility graphics_annotations? Was just wondering if there was a much simpler and quicker way to do this. Thanks

Yes you can use View Templates.

In your view, where you have already hidden the Architects Grids & Levels - go to View - View Templates - Create Template from Current View. Name a View Template to your specifications and then apply this to all Views that you dont want to see the Architects Levels & Grids in.

Manage links > Select the Arch link > Worksets > Close Shared Levels and Grids workset in the link > Reload.

Alternately, add a prefix to you level and grid type and create a filter to all levels and grids without that prefix. Add the filter to you view templates and hide it.

i think what @ToanDN  was referring to was this, from your Visibility Graphics Overrides...

Easiest way to manage it for all your views is to make a View Template (VT), or series of VT's. Then turn the girds/levels off in the VT(s) and apply the VT to the views.
