Revit Graphic Overrides - Phases and Hatch Issues

I am trying to set up new graphics for various wall types.

I want my concrete walls to display thicker in projection and cut than the CMU or Precast walls, so I created a filter specifically for my concrete walls.

I have two issue though.

1. How can I prevent the phased items from taking on the properties of the graphic override.

(I keep holding out hope that someday phase will be included in the "Filter by" options)

2. How can I change the projected graphics of an element without changing the hatch line type weight?  Every time I override the line type thickness it also darkens the hatch pattern. (for now I use annotative hatch)

Also has anyone run into an issue when printing hard copies, where new elements abut existing elements?

Is there a way to send existing elements to the back?  I cant seem to bring the new items "forward" (for now, to correct the issue I use the linework command)

Thanks!

i assume you are using the Phase overrides?

unfortunately Filters have priority over phase overrides. see attached JPG.
