Revit 2021 structural connection problem

Hi ….

When I want to add a base plate connection to a structural column in Revit it shows an error ,says Connection failed I tried many times with different column sizes and shapes still the same problem occur Even my software is up-to-date  ,Can you help please ..

• Trying to create a connection on input elements that are not from the new structural framing families (delivered starting with the 2017 Revit release).

I guess you have an "old" column in your project. Load the new family from the family templates directory
