Revit 2017 Steel Connection Code Checking Eurocode

Hi everyone,

I am checking moment connections for an end plate based on Eurocode 3 Standards beam to column flange connection.

I have noticed at the calculation report from the Steel Connections of Revit add-in that for the Coumn Web in Transverse Compression the yield strength that the software uses is 207MPa. Is there any way to change this value from the parameters? 

I am talking for the highlighted in yellow value at my attached screenshot.

Hello Apostolos,

The fy,wc is the yield resistance of the web column and is taken from the material library, physical assets of the material that is assigned to the column.

If you want to change the value you will have to change the material, and with that change, the other checks will also modify in the report.

If you want to change the end plate resistance, or any other element that is created by the connection, you will have to change the material from inside the connection dialog.
