Remove Constraints and Split Spliced Rebar to Create Gaps

Is it possible to remove constraints from spliced rebars in Revit. I need to create gaps in the rebars to accommodate an opening in the structural element, but I’m not sure how to achieve this. I tried to remove the constrain but didn't work or no such option available?

Thank you

You can Remove the Spliced and its Constraints

Once you have Spliced the Rebar - Contextual Toolbar > Modify|Splice Rebar > Modify Splices

Contextual Toolbar > Modify|Structural Rebar > Remove Splice

You need to Reapply a Constraint using Edit Constraints from one range end to the start of the other and edit the gap/distance accordingly

Thank you, sir! This is an excellent feature in Revit. However, I believe one additional improvement the Revit team could consider is enabling the ability to separate individual rebars from a rebar set. Finally Wishing you a Happy New Year!

Happy New Year 🥳

I think with a set is that you can edit them as a whole relatively quickly but you do have the option from the Contextual Toolbar to Remove Bar or Move Rebar to edit an Individual bar in a set if it clashes to needs to be adjusted slightly.
