reference an elevation in a section view?

Revit - Help - About Reference Elevations 
says "You can place a reference elevation in a plan or callout view." 

It does not anywhere explicitly say "You cannot place a reference elevation in a section view" but apparently you can't.

I would suggest this is a limitation of the software and Views directly on their referencing and creation and probably needs adding to the Ideas List.

One workaround could be to use the View Reference Tool and create you own Tag that look Like and elevation Tag
