Rebars count by lenght in Schedule

Hi All,

Hi @ovidiu_paunescu

In my project I want to count variable rebars's set these have a same number and length and group them in a single line in the schedule, as shown in the picture bellow

In my example bellow, I want put in schedule for rebars:

number 12:  (by element =10 ; elements = 1; Total elements = 10)

 number 13:  (by element =10 ; elements = 1; Total elements = 10)

How can I do that?

Thanks.

See attached 2019 file.  Unhide all Fields and look at formula of Calculated value fields.

@ToanDN

Thanks for the shared file...I studied it and I understood the idea of calculating the average length which is based on the total lengths's percent... but by following your steps I didn’t get the desired result, so I believe that the idea is not applicable for my case because my variable lengths are assembled in the same set and not in different sets or else it is necessary to add other parameters to do the calculation.

You find bellow my defined parameters following your example:

quantité.PNGpourcentage.PNGLong moy.PNG

in any case I have attached below a portion of my file where I left just the rebar N°70 as an example of calculation where the average length should be Lmoy =35.70 m (see the image bellow and check the attached file please to discover what's wrong?)

Thanks.

What do you need the average length for?

Just to display it in the schedule..I dont want to show the field of my variables rebars set empty in the schedule as I mentioned above

I showed you how to average in a schedule and if it doesn't work for rebars then so be it.

ok!!...in any case thank you for your time and for the demonstration

1- I still have another issues with my (units/ rounding) of the calculated and displayed values in the schedule (see the image bellow and be kind to check my attached file to see what's wrong)

2- how can I  made some customization of my schedule as indicated in the  image bellow?
