Rebar that sticks to slab edge and dont join floor

When i place rebar in slabedges the "expand to host" placement methods extend the host to the whole fountaion.
I want the extend to host only applie to the slab edge.
Problem seems to bew when slab and foundation is at the same level.

I´ve tried to model foundation as Floor: Structural & Structual Foundation: Slab.

I´ve tried different materials on floor & slab.

Any suggestions?

Unfortunately I think this is simply due to the functionality of the slab edge process !

As you can see it removes the inner cover reference from the edge element when the slab picked as you would expect and probably necessary in most instances.  Even using the Join/Unjoin Tool has no influence.

In this instance you can use the By Two Point placement method and edit the constraints to suit.
