Rebar presentation disappears after creating dependent duplicate

Hello,

Currently I am working on the presentation of the rebar on a 2D view. All the presentations settings (Presentation, select all/none, onobscured etc.) are processed to create a clear and clean view. In the process we plotted the view (1:100) to see whether the scale is small enough. It appeared that this is not the case, so I changed the view to 1:50, but now it does not fit in the sheet (size A0). The following step is to create two dependend duplicates of this view to create a right and left view. However, the presentations settings do not duplicate, the rebar in these dependent views is not onobscured (as it is by default). How can this be solved to create a dependent view that has the same presentation settings as the original/whole view?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @Anonymous

The Unobscured setting is automatically turned on for the rebar in the view where you create it (place the bar) and all sections.

When you duplicate as dependent it is not set as unobscured.

You can select the rebar (or multiple bars) > go to the properties palette > View Visibility States and check the unobscured box for that dependent view.

The other presentation options, like show middle, show first last should get carried over when you duplicate the view
