Rebar placement

Hello,

I have seen a video of my mentor and in his case when selects current work plane with parallel to workplane option he is able to place the rebar. In my case the cursor is crossed out its not allowing me to place the rebar with these options. i have set the work place in every possible way. dont no where i am going wrong.

You need to put a refence plane inside the column elevation and set it as a workplane

now you can't do like because of view range limitation
