REBAR LENGHT WRONG

With the bend you can see 150+7+7=164 but total lenght say its 159,

rafaelmarinGFHRP_2-1734638504500.png

there is a property of the bend but the minimal bend is 10

My point is, if i need a rebar with 150 lenght, 7 bend on the left and 7 bend on the right, the lenght showed is wrong that total, so on the real life, workers will get the total lenght and also LESS because they will bend the rebar.

Is there a way to show the real lenght?

The length is correct in accordance with the relevant region/code for this Shape Code 21 it considers the Bend Radius.  you could edit the value to remove the bend radius information or create a New Parameter with just the Bar Leg Parameters (A+B+C+D+E+F+G+H)

Hi, i tried opening properties but it doesn't have the option to remove the bend radius information

rafaelmarinGFHRP_2-1737124555122.png

can you explain more the path to remove it?

A Man Made shape isn't going to act like a Code shape family as it has built-in Parameters like that show above! and the Bend Radius it is calculated automatically.

Either use an existing Shape or you could create a NEW Shared Parameter with the Leg Lengths and this will exclude the Bend Radius.

Alternatively in the Schedule use a Calculated Formula

the bad of this is it depends of how much curves i have on my rebar, for example 3 curves is a+b+c+... and i have multiple rebars with different curves, is there a way to include all
