1---model 2018.2

2---can you draw a simple square building with butt corners and run precast split command.using these configuration settings. (Config photo 1)

3---Now this is what i am looking for

4--next

5---so now we will do the same thing except we will change our corners from butt to mitro and add windows to my walls .using the same split command as in photo 1.

6..please tell me what you get .

7--in my project i am getting no plates in my horizontal corners.

8..PLEASE NOTE: if you remove windows from wall and run step 5 you will get plates in your corner but when you put windows in they are not there .

Hi @Anonymous,

In order to have anchor plates on any configuration for the wall join (butt, square, mitter) you should have No Selection for all entries (i.e. Profile Frontal Wall Connection, Profile Side Wall Connection, Profile T-Connection, , Horizontal Profile and Nooses). You should have the family Solid Wall - Anchor Plates in the Cast in Plate entry. Doing so you would obtain the anchor plates on the side of the wall.  See attached image.

If you need to have the families on front/end of the wall you should have the configuration as you have set it in the photo. Indeed, when you are adding a window we rec-calculate the assembly. If you would like to keep the changes, you could turn of the precast add-on, add the windows and after that turn on the add-on.

Kind regards,
