Point cloud re-positioned in new location after revit restart.

Hello

 

 

We have problems with point clouds in Revit:

 

1. In Revit I specified coordinates at a point on grids intersection so that it would match with my project coordinates.

2. Then I inserted point cloud to my project by shared coordinates. Everything is ok until I close Revit and reopen the file.

The point cloud has relocated its self.

 

 

So far I have managed to ignore the problem so that I had to remove point cloud from project and then reinserted it by shared coordinates then it is back in location where it should.

But It is annoying process to do it every time i close Revit especially if i have many point cloud files.

Hello, Kaupo,

 

 

Regarding the issue of Point Clouds repositioning after Revit is restarted, the issue has been reported already, and our Development Department is working on finding the cause.

OK.

 

Hope you figure solution out soon.

I will be waiting for revit update and hope to find fix in there.
