Plan view settings

Hello everyone, 

I'm working on this project for my master and I would like to know if you have some advice about how to set the plan view? Bellow I attach mine, it's not looking good, so that's why I'm asking.

From what I understand, you want to change the view range so the footings are hidden, am I right?
