Placing Rebar Constrained to Cover

I'm trying to place rebar in a parallelogram shaped slab but I can't work out how to edit the constraints so that each bar is placed along the cover. It keeps placing as if the slab was rectangular. I'm not sure if a varying rebar set applies here since the dimensions of each bar don't really vary, it's just the placement.

Here's the section view. What I did was select the top bar, edit constraints, select the end of the bar, then select the line representing the rebar cover so that it would keep that -105.6mm offset consistent for each bar in the set. No good, nothing happened.

I'd really appreciate some guidance as i'm new to the rebar side of things. Thanks in advance!

Hi @RamsesK

In that situation you are constraining the end of the bar to the cover. That shortens or extends the last segment.

If you want that last segment to follow that face, you need a different shape which has an angle of 90 deg (looks like) between the last and second to last segments.

If the slab is a parallelogram, you need to check the varying rebar set option the ribbon, so that the segment follows the inclined face.

Is this what you are trying to achieve?
