Placing curtain wall inside regular wall

I need to place a curtain wall inside a regular wall, trying but failing. so I am taking the route of splitting the regular wall, deleting the opening & inserting the curtain wall to fit the opening, but I feel that I am taking the wrong route.

Any step-by-step video of directly placing curtain wall inside regular wall will be helpful

You simply need to ensure your Curtain Wall Family > Edit Type Properties > Automatically Embed > Ticked

You can also use Cut geometry and cut the wall using the Curtain wall, in case the curtain wall type needs to stay Not automatically embed.
