Nudging of structural beams on pinning

We use the pin tool to avoid accidental moving of objects already placed. The beams producing the issue are concrete double t beams that go under a concrete floor. All of them could be pinned just fine and as expected. One of them moves an indeterminable amount to the right and in positive z-direction. Has anyone else run into similar behaviour? The incident occurred in Revit 2024.3, the model is around the internal origin well within the 20 miles range. The nudge, as though somebody was hitting the cursor keys, would not have been noticed if the user had not used an absurd magnification.

Unpinning the beam after it was mis-adjusted by the pin command, allowed to move it back to its original position - only to be immediately moved again when trying to lock that position again.

The only time I have seen something similar is when using a Beam System and unpinning from the System and moving would reset itself when apply the Pin again?

Are there any CAD reference files in the model/plan that could be influencing this with small tolerances?

I have copied the objects in question to a new empty file. There are no CAD files involved. A colleague found that the pin-moved beam must have been part of a beam system at some point. Pinning the (only) remaining element from that system, forced it into the original location. Still I find this not to be an expected behaviour of the pin-tool. It is hard to explain to people why their fail safe mechanisms fail on setting them up. I could understand, if an entity reverted to a system dictated location once the pin was removed.
