Hi All, I have a laser scan of a large industrial shed, which has seen better days. The ground has also shifted and the columns aren't the same height or straight vertical. I have used ReCap and brought in a mesh model. I can see where the columns are, but I can't work out how to align each column to the mesh. Is there an easy way to achieve this? Or a way to make the bottom of the column slanted to the top?

There is no direct methos you need to much by eye and then review in several Views.  Alternatively it may be easier to place temporary grids to snap against to offer more accurate node points for snapping at intersection of said grids.

As regards the slanted elements, you could use the Slanted Column options in the Contextual Toolbar when creating the Column

Thanks Jay, I appreciate your reply.

I have tried the slanted column, but I can't seem to get the bottom/top to move horizontally to the location or slant to match the scan. I think I need to do some more training on this area. Thanks for your insights.
