I'm new to revit and i'm having a hard time making this bridge piers, because when i use revolve, it makes the pier into this vase shaped pier, while it's actually kind of elliptic, and when I use the blend tool it takes out the arch between the two levels, instead there's is just a straight line. what can I do ?
See if a sweep might solve your issue. The profile is the column shape. The path can be the "elliptical" shape.
You might need to combine a sweep (upper part) and a blend (lower part)

You're on the right track when you use the sweep blend. You just have to cut to its correct profile using sweep. You can use the family I made as a reference. I made it using Revit 2018.2
