Multi-Rebar Annotation not selecting slab rebar in plan

Hi, I am using Revit 2018 student version.

I have done the rebar as per the below pictures (I did not use Area Reinforcement for slab because I wanted to be able to customize exactly where the rebar ends, etc.). Now when I try to detail the slab with multi-rebar annotation in the plan view, it does not register. It is as if there is no rebar there but there is rebar throughout the slab.

How can I use multi-rebar annotation to detail the slab in the plan view? Or is there another more efficient way? The cross section is also shown for your information.

it's supposed to show, did you check in visibly?

What do you mean? It doesn't even allow the rebar to be selected for the
annotation.

Can you add a sample file?

Hi there, please see attached sample file.

My query refers to the 00 - TOS Rebar View.

Hi @Anonymous

I don't have Revit 2018 currently installed, but it seems to be working in Revit 2019. Can you try a newer version and see if it works for you?

Just select "Aligned Multi-Rebar Annotation". See the attached pictures

Thanks, this works. Never used aligned before so did not think of it.
